Personalized risk stratification and management; caring for patients with identified mutations conferring increased risk for the development of breast cancer. There’s a lot of confusion about who should get mammograms. Data is clear. Mammograms reduce mortality from breast cancer.
“I particularly identify with women who may have a breast symptom, who are afraid of having a problem because of their family history, or because they may have survived the disease. It’s especially important for women to feel comfortable, to share their symptoms and their fears and concerns, and to make sure they feel listened to and are taken seriously. I try to be the connecting point for women in all parts of their care journeys, and to let them know that they can come to me to answer questions.”
